Daniel Carr


Daniel works across the Behavioural Insights Team’s education and evaluation divisions. Primarily, he consults on school and early years projects and performs technical work in trial design and data analysis. Prior to joining BIT, Daniel worked in Australia as an education policy advisor at the Foundation for Young Australians and Teach For Australia. He also assisted Australian Federal MP Clare O’Neil author Two Futures, a book on coming policy challenges, and has written on education policy for several media outlets. Previously, Daniel taught in a rural secondary school, serving on the school council and heading its humanities department. He holds a First Class Honours degree in Economics from Monash University, and undergraduate degrees in Economics and Commerce from the University of Queensland.
