Johannes is a Senior Advisor at BIT North America where he focuses primarily on applying behavioral insights to policy issues in international development. Johannes holds a BA in Mathematical Social Sciences and Economics from Dartmouth College, where he graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and a Master in Public Administration in International Development from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
Before joining BIT, Johannes worked as the CFO and Project Manager of Instiglio, a social organization that aims to bring pay-for-success programs and Social Impact Bonds to emerging markets. Previously, Johannes worked with IFC, the World Bank’s investment arm, in Washington, DC, and with Deutsche Bank in New York.
