Samantha is an Advisor in the Skills team at BIT, working on adult skills and lifelong learning. Prior to joining BIT, she worked as an international development consultant in the UK and South Africa. Her work covered a variety of policy areas in several low and middle-income countries. She has also worked as an economist for the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Marketing in Tanzania through the Overseas Development Institute Fellowship Scheme and in finance in the UK. Samantha studied economics at Rhodes University in South Africa and holds a master’s in Development Management from the London School of Economics.
