Tim is a Senior Adviser and leads BIT’s work with local government. Prior to joining BIT, he worked as a Senior Strategy Adviser on public service reform in the Cabinet Office including on social investment and payment by results. This included working across central and local government to set up multi-million-pound programmes to pilot innovative approaches with hard to reach groups such as young homeless people and children in care. Prior to that, he held posts at the Home Office both as an economist and in policy. He holds an MSc in economics from University College London.
