Tim is a Principal Adviser and leads BIT’s work with local government. Since the team was set up in 2015 it has worked across local government priorities including adult social care, children’s social care, public health, revenue collection and waste and recycling. Prior to joining BIT, Tim worked as a Senior Strategy Adviser in the Cabinet Office focusing on public service reform. Prior to that, he held posts at the Home Office both as an economist and as a policy adviser. He holds an MSc in economics from University College London.
